Thank you for your support.

Three days of age grouped art classes. Three classes each morning and two classes each afternoon with the option of Edgewood Idol Contest! with Jo White in the afternoon. Lunches will be provided by the MESD Summer Lunch Program

Classes will be held at the Edgewood Town Hall/Library on Route 344, in Edgewood.

Tuesday Arts Camp includes materials and lunch. There will be some scholarships available.

We have great teachers and classes for this program. Campers can pick Edgewood Idol Contest! in the afternoon.

Kevin Kinane – Junk Jam with Recycleman! Learn how to take found objects, turn them into musical instruments and form a band. Recycleman brings out everything but the kitchen sink (and sometimes even that!) with this fun and energetic musical session.

Shelly Korte – Join Miss Shelly for a journey into the visual arts! From painting and drawing to mixed media sculptures, we will learn new techniques while enjoying freedom of expression. Some classes may create props and sets for Edgewood Idol Contest! performances.

Jodi Miller – Hands in Clay New Mexico! Mini Pots for Many People: A six week guided class on making small ceramic vessels and sculptures in all shapes and small sizes. Come join us for pottery making and fun ceramic games and take home a kiln fired piece of your own art. We are going to have a lot of fun playing with local Manzano red clay – let’s see where mud can take us!

Lenora Romero – Fun Art Projects to achieve an Art piece from beginning to end using soap, foil, color sand, origami paper, slime, and pencil drawing. Looking forward to this Tuesday Arts Camp Program. Join Me!

Gloria Zamora – Native Crafts and Other Arts – Find fabulous creations in simple materials that you already live with. Learn about the traditions of the people of New Mexico and hear their stories.

Jo White – First ever Edgewood Idol Contest! Dancing, singing and stand-up comedy presented by Melodrama Masters, including sets, costumes and choreography. 2 performances will be
prepared for the last day of camp, July 26. Ages 8-14
